Allyson Cole, Psy.D.

Dr. Cole is a Licensed Psychologist, CEO of Family Guiding Psychological Services, and the Director of Training at Connections in Recovery New York.  Over the past eighteen years, Dr. Cole has worked in residential treatment facilities, hospitals, juvenile detention centers, outpatient clinics, and schools and vocational programs, serving in direct care support and as a case manager, clinician, and director.

Dr. Cole experienced firsthand how all levels of staff need a clinical expert’s supervision to succeed in the fast-paced, high-risk, multi-faceted decision-making that must occur moment to moment. She implemented program protocols, analyzed her findings, and over time, created a comprehensive model. After managing fourteen clinicians using this model, Dr. Cole realized how beneficial and powerful these techniques are, and she decided to share the model with other organizations. Dr. Cole is passionate about staff members being supported in a cohesive way to understand relational dynamics within the team and with clients.  For Dr. Cole, the heart of the model lies in understanding boundaries to create change and shape productive relationships.

Our Team

Jasmine Narayan, Psy.D.

Dr. Narayan is a Licensed Psychologist and co-founder of Family Guiding Psychological Services, PLLC. She uses the C.R.E.A.T.E. Outcomes® Model in a private practice setting, where she specializes in child and adolescent psychotherapy, specifically issues related to aggressive/impulsive behavior, emotional regulation, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and trauma.  She has also successfully implemented the model in a residential treatment facility.

Dr. Narayan is passionate about the way the model facilitates growth in all settings – whether with a direct client or within an organization.  In her private practice where she uses the model, the client doesn’t depend on the clinician for growth; instead, the clinician is a guide on a client’s journey.  In organizations, the model provides a framework to support supervisors, which helps teams become more productive and communicative. Dr. Narayan firmly believes that in any setting, with healthy communication and connection, positive interactions increase. The model specifically helps guide individuals through negative interactions, leading to both personal and professional growth.
